TURN up at Archerfield Links these days and chances are you will see a handful of Tour professionals working on their game on some of the best practice facilities in the country.
Catriona Matthew, Scotland’s top female golfer for more than a decade now, is a regular visitor to the Dirleton venue when she’s back home in North Berwick, while former Ryder Cup player Andrew Coltart chose it as his base after moving to Edinburgh a couple of years back.
Raymond Russell and Lynn Kenny are members there, too, and now they’ve been joined by the Saltman brothers – Elliot, Lloyd and Zack, the trio having moved there recently from nearby Craigielaw.
“The likes of Catriona Matthew and Andrew Coltart are based at Archerfield Links for a reason and I’m confident that moving there is only going to help myself and my brothers become better players,” said Lloyd.
“Craigielaw was a fantastic base for us and I’m delighted to be a lifetime member there. But making the change to Archerfield has been fantastic.
