I’m really delighted to be back into The Open, especially at Muirfield. I drive past it every day on my way to Archerfield every day and have seen the stands going up and all the other preparations taking place. All my Open appearances will have been in Scotland and I am very pleased with that.
Today, I just tried to stay patient over the two rounds. I played smart and away from daft pins to try to keep any big numbers off my card
Playing at Muirfield when I live just ten minutes down the road will be amazing. I’ve actually only played the course twice before, both times in the winter when it’s been freezing and with the ground solid.
