The Open

I had an enjoyable time competing at The Open last week.  All friends and family were there which was great and I would like to thank everyone for their support and good wished.   Elliot and I were disappointed not to make the weekend.  The course was tough, you had to hit the fairways or you were penalised, just as I was, losing a ball on the 8th in my first round.   Unfortunately the weather conditions in the afternoon of my second round made it difficult to fight back with birdies which I needed to make the cut.  The experience of  Turnberry has made me more determined to play in the Open at St Andrews in 2010
